Ah, taxes...mine are sitting in the kitchen. Thanks to my lovely employers at Gold's Gym Manhattan who never did send my last check OR w-2, I have to estimate my income from them. Isn't that lovely? ... Good luck! And have fun! ha ha!!

Done! Actually, mine was pretty simple. It helps when you don't have any slips or receipts to deal with. ;)

Good luck with yours Krissa!

Krissa, I can't believe that you never received your last pay cheque? That hardly seems right or fair? I'd be bouncing off the walls in anger. I had last years tax return done last week [smirk] so I'm in front until June 30. (we go from July 1 to June 30 in Oz).

Progress? Yes, unless they get moved back from the counter to the table! ;)

Not sure if smirking is condoned on this blog, mum. ;) I'll check and get back to you. Snort.

If only I could write well enough (and short enough) to explain how Gold's Gym Manhattan operates, Mum. Needless to say, they have a VERY high turnover. They definitely took advantage of my being overwhelmed with moving out of the country. Fortunately, the check was only for about 20 hours. I will be reporting them to the IRS. They can believe that! :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I did report them to the Department of Labor in NYC, but I'm positive they have a backlog of outstanding proportions.
