ta da!
Decided that since I no longer have a tulip outside, I'd buy and bring one indoors! I'll be taking a photograph each day until it no longer blooms (kind of a time-lapse project) and will post the sequence of photos when complete.
I didn't think it would bloom this quick! The sequence is almost done. ;)
Yes, KJ did jump up on the table once, but all I said was Kazumi with surprise in my voice (she's never been on the table before that I know of) and she jumped right down. Bless her heart. She really IS the most "obedient" cat I've ever met. Makes me a bit sad though as I know that she used to be very afraid of doing anything "wrong". I curse the people thrice who had her before!
Maybe you can put it down on the floor by her to let her see it once in awhile since she was interested and then keep it far away from her so she can't eat it and get sick and the tulip can live its life in peace. :)
Oh Dakota, I was sure it was going to be pink, albeit a deep pink, but alas, it's decidedly red. I mean, it's still pretty, but not my favourite colour for a tulip. Still, who am I to complain! ;)

And since this one is safe from harm, we'll get to see it in all its glory. :)

Yay!
Has KJ eyed it for nibbling yet?
