Our AC is broken, and it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit here today. (We are Americans, so of course we have NO IDEA what that is in Celsius.)

Bogdan says he was sweating in places he rather not be reminded of either. :)

Ha!

Ah geez...sorry the a/c isn't working yet! :( ... Ok, I'm just gonna go ahead and say it: "under the boobs" sweat is one of the grossest feelings in the world!!! ..Why can't it just be nice out? Not too hot, not too cold....

100 degrees (that's about 38C) -- yikes! Hope you have fans at least.

Haha indeed. I actually have a "under the boobs sweat" bra that I wear specifically when I go out in the summer heat cuz I know it'll be drenched by the time I get back! And unfortunately this seems to be getting worse as I get older.

And I'm with you, Krissa. Why can't everything be just right?! Goldilocks knew what she was talking about. ;)

At the very least we could have more than 2 or 3 days a season that aren't totally extreme heat or cold. "To dream, the impossible dream..."

Ha! That is so funny!

I don't really relate though. I can't remember the last time I was hot. Sorry.

Hey, thanks for stopping by Pieces. Yes, I seem to remember that it doesn't really get hot where you are. Lucky you! Hmmm, I think I need to update your link in my little blogrollette....

I forgot to tell you Krissa, that about five years ago I was living in a bedsit where the elderly landlord insisted that the central air be set at 15C (60F) from between May and October. Well! I FROZE my batookas (is that a word?) off and nearly went insane. The contrast between inside and outside in the middle of August was so extreme that I'm surprised I didn't get sick. Of course a lot of people minimized it and said that I could just put a sweater on, but it drove me NUTS. Your previous two comments (not too hot, not too cold) just unleashed that memory. Aren't you glad? Snort. ;)

Wow - isn't that totally out of character for an elderly person? How did YOU get to be the lucky one to be in that situation with the only person over 70 who actually used air conditioning? Of course, had they been typical of that age, you would have burned up all summer. Ah, the myseries of life. (that was supposed to say "mysteries", but i think the unintentional "miseries" is too good to erase).

Snort. Myseries. Love it!

It was an elderly lady with COPD (lung disease) who had difficulty breathing (she was on constant oxygen in the last few years of her life), so I could certainly understand her wanting the air on, but I couldn't convince her that setting it at a higher temp would still do the trick. I ended up moving to the apartment where I am now (next door), and the extreme cold for half a year (June through August I could have handled) was one of the reasons why I left.

I know that feeling of not being able to breathe because of the heat/humidity so I feel for her. But yeah, it didn't need to be set on 60. ...Speaking of weather, the humidity is at 100% here today. It's awful. I wish we had a/c!!

Sorry to hear it Krissa. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a cooler summer in Europe this year!

In order to not jinx anything...I will not say anything about our weather here today. :)
