mary's back!
Mary who? Mary Tyler Moore of course. And I picked her up tonight. No, not in person silly. But the eagerly anticipated The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Complete Second Season DVD was anxiously awaiting my arrival at the library—woohoo! Maybe that'll lure me away from Flickrland.*

How many seasons did the show run? I do remember it from when I was a kid, but I only remember the characters and not much about the show. I liked Ted's wife. I liked when she talked, I thought her voice was so neat!

Seven seasons -- from 1970 to 1977. Ah, Georgette. Played by Georgia Engel. Yes, neat voice.
An interesting thing I've noticed in watching Season 2 is that they have Mary wearing clothes you can recognize from previous episodes. Not something they tend to do nowadays.

They sure don't do that nowadays. I wonder if Rhoda will wear the same outfit twice? (I hope that's the right name).

Yep, I've already seen Rhoda in the same yellow sweater a couple of times. And I'm starting to recognize even more of Mary's clothes! Kinda nice. Makes it more realistic.

And you know, I bet no one noticed that back when the show was running. ...Well, I do remember that Lou wore the same clothes every day. :) ha ha!

You're right Krissa. I don't think anyone noticed, whereas in today's shows most characters never wear the same thing twice. Silly really.
