Decided to put up this little tree instead. Isn't it cute? Found it in a thrift store (where else?), figured it looked lonely, so took it home. Put in eight small candles, and voilà!

That is really very pretty and unique. And recycled! What more could you ask for? How does KJ go with the candles? I sometimes find it difficult to have candles alight in our house due to the very real possibility of singed whiskers and eyebrows. What was that about curiousity?

KJ's not too bad actually. She doesn't jump on the table, and I'm pretty careful if I have candles elsewhere.
