Ahhh! It does look delicious...and I can see that there will have to be some substitute for the sausage. There is veggie sausage like that in the U.S., but so far we don't see it in Germany. (It would probably be "sacrilege" here). ... Is that one of your Cruett (horrible spelling, sorry)! pots?
Yum yum, it looks so good. Going to make myself a big pot of this with your recipe (now that I've found rookwurst) when D is away. And yes I've ditched 'mum of two and a half' - I'm not that old that I need or want you and Krissa calling me Mum. LOL.
Hi Susan. :) Funny, you had a hard time to find Rookwurst to make the soup and here, I could have it coming out of my ears, but I can't find a substitute. Ah well. Hope all is good "down under". ... How is the soup, KJ's Muse? Any left? :)
Yes, that's one of my beloved Le Creuset pots! The soup IS all gone, and true to it's nature, it got better each day. On the first day I decided that it hadn't been one of my better efforts, loved it on the second day, and thought it fantastic by the third! So I've come to the conclusion that pea soup is better if not eaten right away.
What?! You don't like snert, Dakota? What a pity. ;)
But I liked calling you Mum, Susan. It made me feel, well, so much younger than you! Snort.
